Pulse App User Data and Content Policy
User Data Collection
The following user data is collected as part of using Pulse App
- emailID – Users sign-in into the app using their Google accounts and the emailID is securely sent and stored in our servers for facilitating account recovery and account management.
- username – Users can signup and update their user names which are publicly visible to all users of the app. They can use any username as long as they fall under general safe community guidelines.
- User Profile Pictures – Users can if they chose to, upload their profile pictures as long as they fall under general safe community guidelines.
User Data Deletion
Currently PulseApp, which is under active development, doesn’t yet support data deletion. We are planning to support data deletion, but cannot guarantee any specific timeline.
Content Policy
All content is public and should follow generally safe community guidelines which include but are not limited to the following:
- No person or entity should be harassed for their views expressed
- No sensitive content pertaining political, religious, race or gender issues which can potentially create disharmony in the community shall be expressed
Any content that violates such generally acceptable community guidelines may be deleted and the user account may be banned from posting further in the app.
We may employ certain moderation tools to filter sensitive content and may remove such offending content
